innovative cycling computers. Our mission is to create technology that allows riders to “just ride” – focusing on the journey, not the gadgets. As a Embedded System Engineer, you will play a crucial role in shaping the user experience of our products, ensuring that our cycling computers are as intuitive and enjoyable to use as they are advanced.
Imagine your typical day at Absolute Cycling: You start the morning with a startup to discuss the status of the sprint with your team. Then you continue to puzzle out the problem you stopped working on yesterday. For example, how can the computer get the best possible reception or how can you generate the cleanest possible data and send it to the app. Each time, you are challenged to push the limits of your creativity and knowledge to develop the computer. In the afternoon after our delicious lunch, you will have a meeting with a partner with whom you will work to develop a new feature. At the end of the day, you have another consultation with the UX Designer to see if functionality realizes the best user experience.

What we expect from you
- A bachelor or master degree in electronics or relevant.
- Relevant work experience in this area:
- Developing in C, C++ (embedded systems) for several years.
- iMX.7, Linux, FreeRTOS, nRF, BLE, UART, JTAG, I2C, SPI
- OO, UML, Agile, Scrum
- CI/CD, automated testing with e.g. RobotTest
- QML is a plus
